The Migross Group was founded with the aim to create not just a strong and competitive buying group, but also an effective reference point for all the affiliates. The head office initially is on the outskirts of Verona, Castel d'Azzano, with a warehouse of 3000 sqm and an asset of around 10 supermarkets, but the company success leads to the need of an extension of the business Center first to 8000 sqm and then, in 2001, to the transfer to the new technological headquarters of Bussolengo (Vr) of about 20,000 sqm.

The group actually consists of four sales channels, designed and developed to meet all business needs:

• Migross Superstore - Major supermarket floor areas , aimed at families, large consumers and small restaurants;
Migross Supermercati - Retail group leader, is aimed at young families and singles who enjoy the services twice a week;
Migross Market - dedicated stores to small towns; Fresco Mio – brand of the minimarkets designed for the neighbourhood retail

The Migross Group currently operates in Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, serving more than 400 direct sales outlets and affiliates.
